The Texas Rowing second novice eight team, with coxswain Emma Dirks, Sharon Dietz, Lucia Babar, Kait Postle, Ashley Hiatt, Andrea Janowski, Madonna Bregon, Daryn Ofczarzak and Dani Mohling, finished with a time of 8:07.5, losing to Wisconsin, which completed the race in 7:47.1. This was the third session of the Longhorn Invitational, Saturday afternoon, March 21, 2009 on Lady Bird Lake. They won a total of three races over the weekend.
